Oakland Hills – Oakland California

In this project, we seamlessly blended the historic with the new. We are happy to report; the clients love it.

This home was featured in The San Francisco Chronicle Magazine. As that article states (seen in our blog), the house was uninhabitable when we arrived. We proceeded to design a complete makeover- top to bottom. Every inch of this property was restored, remodeled, and remade.

Work included reworking the dysfunctional upstairs into three large bedrooms, all with en-suite baths, new and expanded kitchen with top of the line appliances, unique gardens, patios, garden walls, driveway gate, restored siding, new windows, etc.

The home became a modest estate.

We provided all the design, permits, finish selection, and landscaping, which included both design and installation. All of our work was done respecting the historic quality of the original building. The image of the finished bathroom provides an example of the historic treatment provided.
